Ever wonder what it’s like being married to The Office’s resident cutie, John Krasinski? Emily Blunt can tell you!
As part of her gig as the cover girl of InStyle’s May 2013 issue, Emily sat down with the mag for a candid interview about work, Hollywood, and life with her husband. Emily and John met in 2008; they tied the knot in 2010, and they’ve never been happier—even if things can get a little messy at times.
How messy? “I spend my life in sweatpants and covered in mud,” Emily says. The couple also lets their gigantic lab, Finn, cuddle with them in bed… which can put sleeping space at a minimum. She notes, “I have an enormous husband—he’s 6’3”!—and an enormous dog”—but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Meeting John really changed my life,” Emily continued. “When I feel the support I have from him, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days.” According to People, he also makes the dinner reservations—which is a bigger deal than it might seem at first. Emily stuttered badly as a child (she credits a school teacher with helping her overcome it through acting), and still doesn’t particularly enjoy talking on the phone. It’s one of those seemingly small things her hubby does that means the world to her. Awwww.
